Biography:

Hanzo Shimada first appeared in the 2016 video game *Overwatch*. He is a damage hero characterized as a highly skilled archer and assassin.

He is the elder son of the Shimada clan's leader and was trained from a young age in martial arts, swordsmanship, and archery, expected to inherit the clan's empire. However, he refused to take his father's place.

Hanzo is known for his precision and deadly accuracy with his bow, Storm Bow. He seeks redemption for his past actions, particularly the role he played in his brother Genji's perceived death. He wanders the world honing his skills and grappling with his inner turmoil.
